About Broadridge

Ergonomics of the Home Office

Join our Broadridge Inspires session focused on health & wellness.

Working from home during this lockdown period and beyond, our at-home workstations present new challenges for us – and our bodies. As our dining room tables, couches, windowsills or even shoe cabinets have turned into impromptu workspaces, many of us may face discomfort and strain on our bodies. It is thus important for us to adopt proper ergonomic practices to protect our physical and mental well-being.

In this session of Broadridge Inspires, join physiotherapist Dave Lee to get practical tips on maintaining a healthy and ergonomic lifestyle. Learn about time management, desk posture and self-managing techniques to deal with pain arising from working at home. Dave will also show simple exercises that can be done in the comfort of your home office.

Dave graduated from Cardiff University with a BSc in Physiotherapy and has accumulated a wealth of experience including stints with Cardiff City Football Club Academy and the South Wales Scorpions Rugby League. He is an avid athlete himself and is working with clients from a variety of backgrounds, including those at the elite level, to empower them to aim towards goals they previously may have thought were unachievable.

At the end of this session, we hope that you will pick up practical tips on how to manage your home offices in a healthy and ergonomic manner.
