Diversity, Equity & Inclusion

Strengthening Diversity, Equity and Inclusion while Nurturing Our People and Communities

At Broadridge, we recognize our long-term success and ability to innovate are directly tied to how we engage and develop our associates to bring their best to work. We believe our associates can bring their best only when they feel safe, understood and valued as the individuals they are.

“The work that we are doing around diversity, equity and inclusion is imperative to our business, but even more critical to the world we live in.”
– Naadia Burrows, Chief Diversity Officer

This isn’t just smart business. It’s the right thing to do.

Why? Because you matter.

DEI at Broadridge is…

  • Diversity: The value each of us brings regardless of different experiences or background
  • Equity: A winning environment without unfair and inappropriate barriers that enables us all to reach our full potential
  • Inclusion: A culture where you can feel, and are, respected and included

So, what does that look like at Broadridge?

DEI strategy framework:

  • Talent: Infrastructure, sourcing and attraction, talent mobility, localization and globalization
  • Culture: Learning and development, champions and advocates, associate engagement, infrastructure
  • Marketplace: Reputation and brand, supplier diversity, community, innovation

What does that mean to me?

To sustain and promote DEI process and strategy we will….

  • Communicate with you and encourage you to engage with others
  • Integrate DEI into everything that we do
  • Measure the progress and participation in DEI programs and activities
  • Benchmark where we are and where we are headed
  • Connect the work we do within with the work we do in our communities

DEI has always been a Broadridge value. Bringing that culture to life is in everyone’s ability.

Are you ready to lead with intention?

Broadridge's
Inclusiveness Pledge:

Broadridge is committed to advancing diversity, equity and inclusion within our workforce, workplace and community. We recognize that delivering exceptional service and value to our clients and stakeholders requires us to develop and grow exceptional talent. We invest in our culture and workplace to empower associates of all backgrounds, experiences and identities to bring their best to work. This approach is critical to our Service-Profit Chain as a company, for when our associates are engaged and excel at work, then we can excite our clients with the quality and reliability of all that we provide and produce.

Our commitment:

  1. Value every associate's unique attributes—including their gender, ethnicity, age, marital status, sexual orientation, socio-economic status, religion, physical ability, mental ability and expression—and how those attributes may provide them with a different, useful perspective.
  2. Create an environment where everyone feels accepted and can bring their authentic self to work.
  3. Build upon our existing efforts to increase diversity within our workforce through the hiring of underrepresented groups, including women, members of the LGBTQ+ community, people with disabilities, people of color and veterans.
  4. Ensure fair recruiting, hiring and promotion processes and procedures to reduce unconscious bias and structural barriers.
  5. Incorporate diverse representation in everything we do. We will not be satisfied until we are able to recognize and engage the unique talents of each associate every day.
