Virtual Data Rooms (VDRs) provide critical functionality for the planning and execution of Initial Public Offerings (IPOs), Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A), and other strategic events. Broadridge sought to supplement its transactional services solution suite with VDR capabilities to provide a full end-to-end offering to clients involved in strategic events.
Broadridge enlisted SmartRoom to add a VDR solution to its transactional product suite due to SmartRoom’s security, usability and collaboration tools. SmartRoom combines the clean interface and collaboration tools of content management platforms with the security and reporting capabilities of Virtual Data Rooms.
The SmartRoom partnership rounds out Broadridge’s existing transactional solution suite and enables Broadridge to serve clients in IPO’s, M&A, and other transactional processes. The partnership also provides SmartRoom with an incremental distribution channel with access to Broadridge’s sizeable client base.
