The summer of 2017 saw the economy slow a bit, as inflation remained relatively stagnant, wages advanced slightly, rhetoric between North Korea and the United States heated up, and Mother Nature blasted the southern states with two powerful hurricanes. Through it all, the stock market continued an upward tick with several benchmark indexes reaching all-time highs and some promising economic indicators on the horizon.
