Frequently asked questions

Yes. Retirement Product Evaluator is modular while offering a shared framework and user experience across modules. Advisors can purchase only the modules they need, while enterprises can bundle modules to provide their advisors with access to product data that meets their needs.

Regardless of which modules you buy, you will benefit from being able to learn one tool and apply it to multiple product categories instead of juggling multiple platforms.

Retirement Product Evaluator is focused on deep, product-level comparisons of target date series, stable value funds, retirement income products, and managed account programs. It is designed to help advisors and firms enhance due diligence efficiency and fiduciary support with ready access to unbiased data.

Other fiduciary tools address broader plan-level governance, investment policy support, and monitoring, but do not offer the modular product-level research capabilities of Retirement Product Evaluator.

Broadridge collects data gathered directly from product manufacturers and complements it with information from specialized third-party partners (like CANNEX) to build the database for Retirement Product Evaluator. The data is regularly updated and reviewed to provide users access to timely and unbiased data across all four product types.

Coverage includes 90+ stable value funds and 325+ share classes, 15+ retirement income product manufacturers, an expanding set of managed account programs, and multiple target date series sourced directly from fund managers.

Data is updated on a regular schedule, with frequency calibrated to each product type and data source.
