NEW YORK – October 8, 2026 – Broadridge (NYSE: BR), global Fintech leader, today announced that its Distributed Ledger Repo (DLR) processed an average of $359 billion in daily repo transactions during September, with volumes totaling $7.5 trillion. The daily average increase demonstrates the continued scale of tokenized securities financing activity as Broadridge expands its digital asset infrastructure beyond repo through its recently launched fully integrated, end-to-end tokenization and digital asset infrastructure platform, DLX.
“DLR has demonstrated that tokenized market infrastructure can operate at the scale and consistency required for core institutional activity,” said Horacio Barakat, Global Head of Digital Innovation at Broadridge. “That real-world foundation is allowing us to take the next step with DLX, extending the infrastructure and operating experience we’ve built in repo to a broader range of assets and workflows. This makes it possible for institutions to bring tokenization into more parts of their business through infrastructure that seamlessly connects with how markets already operate.”
Building on the proven infrastructure and institutional experience behind DLR, DLX extends Broadridge’s capabilities beyond securities financing into a broader, multi-asset platform spanning issuance, trading, settlement, servicing, custody, governance and distribution. Through a modular, multi-chain architecture and common operating layer connecting traditional and on-chain activity, DLX helps financial institutions integrate tokenized assets into existing operating models while reducing operational complexity.
