(Chinatrust) (TWSE: 2891), a major financial holding company in Taiwan engaged in commercial banking, bills, financing, credit cards, trusts, insurance brokerage, securities, venture capital, and investment banking, is the latest member of its International Shareholder Communications Programme.
Under the new service agreement, Chinatrust will use Broadridge's services to distribute shareholder meeting information, corporate news and investor relations (IR) materials to its shareholders electronically on a real-time basis. It will monitor the collection and execution of voting instructions through Broadridge's proprietary voting platform, the ProxyEdge® suite of products. The system can be utilised for meetings in a multitude of countries based on the holdings of global custodian clients.
