The Pacific Life Income Horizon CITs are retirement income CITs established to invest in a certain Unallocated Group Annuity Contract (“GA Contract”) issued by Pacific Life Insurance Company (“Pacific Life”) for the purpose of the accumulation of assets to support the payout, at the option of retirement plan participant (each a “Participant”), of lifetime income. Given the nature of the Fund, there is only one investment vehicle utilized at any particular time. Each respective Fund is a vintage designed for, and only available for, Participants who may retire during a Fund-specific 2-year window, noted below, at the age of 70 years old.

There is no specific rate of return associated with the Fund, but instead the Fund accumulates income units (“Income Units”) representing the monthly payments of $1 for the life of an annuitant on the 1st day of the month after the quarter in which the annuitant turns 70 years old, assuming a Single Life with Cash Refund (described below) form of annuity. At the election of the Participant, income units accumulated may be paid out in the form of an annuity by Pacific Life, or an affiliate, in accordance with the GA Contract and, as applicable, any supporting Deferred Income Annuity Contract (“DIA”).
