LAKE SUCCESS, N.Y., Jan. 31, 2013 - Broadridge Financial Solutions, Inc. (NYSE:BR) today announced that it has been named one of the Best Companies to Work for in New York State for the 6th consecutive year.  The annual statewide survey and awards program identifies, recognizes and honors New York’s best places of employment based on employee satisfaction, as well as workplace practices and policies.

“Our associates are our best asset, and they are the key ingredient in the great culture that helps make Broadridge such a remarkable place to work,” said Tim Gokey, Chief Operating Officer, Broadridge.  He added, “Being named one of the best large employers in New York State for the sixth year is an honor, and we’ll continue to work hard to create an inclusive and performance-oriented culture that provides associates with the resources to excel professionally, and deliver exceptional value to our clients.”

Diversity and inclusion and leadership development are priorities in Broadridge’s talent management strategy.  The commitment to diversity and inclusion enhances Broadridge’s creativity, productivity, and ability to manage change.  Recently, Broadridge received a perfect score of 100 on the Human Rights Campaign (HRC) Corporate Equality Index (CEI) and is being recognized as one of the year’s Best Places to Work for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) equality by the HRC.  It is the premiere national benchmark for LGBT workplace inclusion.

All associates can also develop individually through a range of career planning programs, while enhancing organizational effectiveness.

Broadridge employs nearly 2,000 associates in New York State and 6,200 associates worldwide.  Broadridge maintains five offices in New York: its corporate headquarters in Lake Success; two major operations centers in Edgewood; and two offices in New York City.

Best Companies to Work for in New York is a program of the New York State Society for Human Resource Management (NYS-SHRM) in partnership with The Business Council of New York and is sponsored by Jackson Lewis, LLP.  For additional information about the award and a list of the previous years’ winners, visit www.BestCompaniesNY.com.
