Origins

Beginning as a division within ADP, the newly formed ADP Securities Brokerage Services Group quickly establishes itself as a leader in securities processing.
1960s

Launch

Forms ADP Securities Brokerage Services Group in 1962, with one client processing an average of 300 trades per night.
1970s

Establishing Footprint

Modifies and enhances brokerage securities processing and grows client base, expanding operations into Canada.
1981-2000

Global Scale and Expanding Capabilities

The group transforms the way firms connect to investors and builds its global presence.
1980s

Driving Efficiency

Creates offering for investor communications business, which serves over 30 major clients in its first year, and re-architects laborious time-consuming proxy process, becoming the largest full-service brokerage processor with approximately 80% of the market.
1990s

Reshaping Communications and Securities Processing

Introduces internet proxy voting and digital delivery of shareholder communications and begins processing regulatory mailings and proxies for mutual funds in North America and the UK. Rolls out multi-instrument, multi-currency trading and settlement system.
2001-Now

Next-Level Growth

As a recognized partner to financial services firms and businesses, Broadridge expands organically and through acquisitions to help new industries transform operations and create real business value.
2000s

Going Public

Becomes publicly traded company in 2007 (NYSE: BR). Expands offerings in print solutions, electronic voting platforms, tax services, business process outsourcing, mutual funds and retirement solutions. Extends connectivity to major European and Asian markets for global securities processing solution.
2010s

Building Tomorrow

Grows to offer data management, mutual fund processing, proxy and shareholder communications, and fee and expense management. Enters the transfer agency and international reconciliation business and creates mobile voting business. Delivers enhanced digital communications to drive enriched client engagement. Expands investment in blockchain solutions for investor communications and trade processing.

Executive Leadership

Rich Daly

Rich Daly

Director and Chief Executive Officer

Rich has been our Chief Executive Officer and a member of our board since Broadridge became an independent public company in 2007. He also served as President from 2014 to 2017. Prior to Broadridge becoming an independent public company, Rich served as Group President of the Brokerage Services Group of ADP, and as a member of the Executive Committee and Corporate Officer of ADP. Rich joined ADP in 1989 following their acquisition of the proxy services business he founded.
Tim Gokey

Tim Gokey

President and Chief Operating Officer

Tim became President of Broadridge in 2017 and has responsibility for all of our business units, technology operations and operations in India. He became Chief Operating Officer in 2012. Previously, he was our Chief Corporate Development Officer responsible for the company’s growth initiatives, including sales and marketing, strategy, and mergers and acquisitions. Prior to joining Broadridge in 2010, Tim was President of the Retail Tax business at H&R Block. Earlier, he spent 13 years at McKinsey and Company.
Jim Young

Corporate Vice President, Chief Financial Officer

Jim joined Broadridge in 2014 after serving in senior finance roles at Visa Inc. Most recently, Jim was Senior Vice President, Finance and was responsible for global financial planning and analysis for Visa’s businesses in North America, Latin America, Asia Pacific, Central Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Prior to joining Visa in 2006, Jim was a finance executive at early-stage technology companies.
Robert Schifellite

Bob is responsible for the bank, broker-dealer and corporate issuer solutions businesses of our Investor Communication Solutions segment and leads all aspects of those businesses. Bob joined ADP’s Brokerage Services Group in 1992 as Vice President, Client Services. In 1996, he was promoted to Senior Vice President and General Manager of Investor Communication Services.
Charlie Marchesani

Corporate Vice President, Global Technology and Operations
President, Global Technology and Operations

Charlie is responsible for all aspects of our global technology and operations business. In 2013, his role was expanded to include responsibility for our international securities processing solutions and business process outsourcing solutions businesses. Most recently prior to his current role, Charlie was responsible for the U.S. securities processing solutions business. Charlie joined ADP’s Brokerage Services Group in 1992.
Michael Liberatore

Michael Liberatore

Corporate Vice President, Investor Communication Solutions, Mutual Funds

Mike is responsible for our mutual funds and retirement business. Prior to assuming this role in 2015, he led the finance functions of the company’s two business segments, as well as its corporate financial planning and analysis function, and treasury operations. Previously, Mike was Chief Operating Officer of the Mutual Fund and Retirement Solutions business. He joined ADP’s Brokerage Services Group in 2004.
Doug DeSchutter

Doug DeSchutter

President, Broadridge Customer Communications

Doug is responsible for Broadridge’s omni-channel communication solutions, including print and digital distribution channels. Previously, he led our digital communications strategy and initiatives, oversaw our U.S. proxy and prospectus services, and headed our Transaction Reporting business. Doug also serves as the company’s representative on the board of Inlet, LLC, a joint venture between Broadridge and Pitney Bowes. Prior to joining Broadridge, he held roles at ADP and Lehman Brothers.
Julie Taylor

Julie Taylor

Corporate Vice President, Chief Human Resources Officer

Julie joined Broadridge in 2015 and leads all aspects of human resources globally, including talent acquisition, organizational development and training. She has over 20 years of human resources experience, most recently as Chief Human Resources officer at Pall Corporation. She held previous roles at Bristol-Myers Squibb, General Electric Company and at Merck & Co.
Chris Perry

Corporate Senior Vice President, Global Sales, Marketing and Client Solutions

Chris is responsible for client relationships and how we go to market. He joined Broadridge in 2014 after more than 25 years in banking, brokerage and financial information services. Most recently, he was Global Managing Director of Risk for the Financial & Risk division of Thomson Reuters. Over the previous 14 years, Chris held numerous roles at Thomson Reuters and its predecessor, Thomson Financial.
Adam Amsterdam

Corporate Vice President, General Counsel

Adam is responsible for all legal matters related to the company. Prior to Broadridge becoming an independent company, he served as Associate General Counsel and Staff Vice President of ADP. Adam joined ADP in 1991 as Corporate Counsel responsible for the Brokerage Services Group with subsequent promotions to Senior Corporate Counsel, and Assistant General Counsel prior to becoming Associate General Counsel.
Deborah Bussière

Deborah Bussière

Chief Marketing Officer

Deborah leads global marketing initiatives that enhance our revenue, reputation and relationships across the marketplace. She joined Broadridge in 2017 following a successful career in financial services and consulting. Most recently, Deborah worked with notable fintech startups. Prior to that, she held marketing leadership roles at EY, UBS and Morgan Stanley.
Tom Carey

Tom Carey

President, Global Technology and Operations Solutions, EMEA & Asia Pacific

Tom heads Broadridge’s Global Technology and Operations Solutions business in EMEA and Asia Pacific, and is responsible for its range of market-leading process automation and transaction processing solutions. He has led Broadridge’s growth strategy in Europe and Asia since taking his current position in 2009. Tom has over 20 years of experience with Broadridge in a breadth of leadership roles.
Lyell Dampeer

Lyell Dampeer

Corporate Vice President, U.S. Investor Communication Solutions

Lyell is responsible for our U.S. regulatory communication services and for our issuer and transfer agency services. Prior to the appointment to his current role in 2012, he was head of our U.S. regulatory communications services. Lyell joined ADP’s Brokerage Services Group in 2000 as Vice President, Client Services. Previously, he held senior management positions at companies providing outsourcing services.
Michael Dignam

President, Canadian Securities Processing Solutions

Michael is responsible for all aspects of our business in Canada. He joined ADP’s Brokerage Services Group in 1981 shortly after the opening of the Canadian business. Prior to his current position, Mike was actively involved in many client implementations across Canada as well as managing the Client Services division.
John Hogan

John Hogan

Senior Managing Director of Technology

John served as our President until September 2013 and as our Chief Operating Officer until September 2012. Prior to Broadridge becoming an independent public company in 2007, John served as Group President of the Brokerage Services Group, and as a member of the Executive Committee and Corporate Officer of ADP. In this role, he shared the responsibility of running the Brokerage Services Group with Rich Daly.
Mike Hopkins

President, Securities Processing Solutions Fixed Income & Risk

Mike is responsible for our fixed income securities processing business, a market leader in its segment. Mike joined ADP’s Brokerage Services Group in 2005. Previously, he served as Group Vice President for Gartner Inc. and as executive champion for the Outsourcing/Off-shoring and Group Process Management practice areas. Mike also served at AT&T in various operations, business and strategy roles.
Bob Kalenka

Corporate Vice President, Global Procurement and Facilities

Bob is responsible for global procurement, facilities and the operations of our Investor Communication Solutions business. In 2016, his responsibilities were expanded to include the role of Chief Operations Officer of the Broadridge Customer Communications business. Bob joined ADP’s Brokerage Services Group in 1992 in the Investor Communication Services Division as Director of Finance.

V. “VLK” Laxmikanth

Managing Director, India

VLK is responsible for delivery of product development and operations from our India-based centers across our Investor Communication Solutions and Global Technology and Operations businesses. VLK’s leadership spans execution, product and technical innovation and business strategy. Previously, he was part of the executive leadership team of ADP India.
Frieda Lewis

Frieda Lewis

Chief Diversity Officer

Frieda is Broadridge’s Chief Diversity Officer, working to enhance the company's record of diversity both inside and outside the organization. She serves as a business catalyst, executing a diversity strategy that enables Broadridge to win in the global marketplace. In addition, Frieda is Managing Director, Global Relationship Management, responsible for coordinating significant global relationships.
Laura Matlin

Corporate Vice President, Deputy General Counsel and Chief Governance Officer

Laura is responsible for our legal department’s operations and helps set the department’s strategy. In her role as Chief Governance Officer, Laura works closely with Broadridge’s Board of Directors and represents the company’s leadership on corporate governance issues. Prior Broadridge appointments include Associate General Counsel, Chief Privacy Officer and Assistant Corporate Secretary. Laura joined ADP in 1997.
Vijay Mayadas

Corporate Vice President, Corporate Strategy and Head of U.S. Fixed Income

Vijay is responsible for strategy, acquisitions, partnerships and other growth-related activities including leading Broadridge’s blockchain initiatives. In 2016, his role was expanded to add responsibility for the U.S. Fixed Income business. Prior to joining Broadridge in 2013, Vijay held a variety of roles in private equity, strategy consulting and technology including at the Boston Consulting Group.
Patricia Rosch

President, Investor Communication Solutions, International

Patricia leads Investor Communication Solutions, International. She joined ADP in 1996 as Director of Sales and Marketing and was named President of Investor Communication Solutions, Canada in 2004. Prior to that, she held strategic planning positions at a major Canadian bank and a number of product development and marketing positions in the brokerage and mutual fund industries.
Bob Santangelo

Bob Santangelo

Senior Vice President, Global Head Bank and Broker-Dealer Sales

Bob is responsible for our global bank, broker-dealer distribution channel, including global sales management, business development and strategic client initiatives. His experience spans capital markets, wealth management and investment management technology, operations and communications. Bob joined ADP in 1992 and has since served in various sales and marketing roles.
