Vantra Overview
 Broadridge's Vantra core product, the Vantra On-Line Trading System, or Vantra, is an online securities trading system designed to handle the demanding needs of full service broker-dealers, online and discount brokerage firms, as well as clearing, banking, and non-traditional brokerage solutions emerging over the Internet and via other technologies. The flexibility of Vantra allows any financial institution the ability to implement customized online brokerage systems quickly and efficiently.
The versatile software currently supports traditional broker/advisor businesses as well as direct-to-consumer brokerage services. Stocks, mutual funds, options and bonds are all supported; real-time account information and portfolio positions are maintained; and order execution is seamlessly integrated and monitored. The software is easily customized to the unique design and interface needs of Broadridge's Vantra customers.
Six Levels of Access
Through the versatile Vantra technology, Vantra delivers "six levels of access" - six product feature sets with capabilities that can be tailored to an individual client's needs. Vantra is unique in providing six fully integrated levels of access and control:
- Investor - Allows access to quotes, account balances, positions, portfolio, and history for accounts with or without trading capability.
- Broker - Permits access to all of a client’s account information as well as the ability to view balances, positions, and transaction history, as well as enter orders. Broker tools include money line, stock record and order information, and execution reports.
- Branch - Permits management or designated personnel access to investor information or individual investor’s trading activity. Provides an efficient tool for monitoring brokers’ trading activity of managed accounts.
- Region, Division or Correspondent - Provides Region or Division management access to all levels within geographic territory or branch network. This level also allows a clearing firm to manage its correspondents and helps management better anticipate the needs of branches and regional management.
- Corporate - Gives access to all functions and levels.
- Administration - Enables addition of new accounts and representatives; changes in order status; setup of branches or divisions/regions; access to firm reports; and market surveillance or compliance monitoring.
At all six levels, the Broadridge's Vantra system provides control and risk management functions. Vantra will send an automatic rejection notice to an investor when his or her account does not comply with your firm’s credit check parameters.
