Mutual Fund Processing
Broadridge Brokerage Processing Services provides clients with comprehensive order entry and management tools for seamless brokerage operations. These services offer invaluable functionality necessary for the automated routing and processing of all customer orders, including system messaging, order inquiry, execution routing, trade management, and configuration services.
Broadridge's order management support begins with our Advanced Order Management System (AOM). This online, real-time application provides formatted screens based on client-specific options, and enables firms to quickly and easily perform complete order entry, inquiry and management services. The AOM system is integrated with Broadridge's BPS back office processing environment and enables clients to:
- Perform validation checks against both security and customer account information
- Access real-time information on current account status
- Obtain immediate online notifications of executions
Once Broadridge has received an order, the DNS (Data Network Services) and OMS Plus (Order Management System) systems provide complete validation, matching and execution routing capabilities. This functionality automatically formats all orders to comply with your firm's predetermined execution point format, and then routes the orders to this point. With the flexible setup parameters, you also have the ability to define sub-users within your firm. This enables you to provide specific users or entire branch offices with their own order routing and processing instructions - separate from the rest of the firm.
After an order has been executed, Broadridge's processing system receives a status report back from the execution point, which is then matched with the original order. All matched items are then updated in real-time and passed back to your firm so you can send automated notification messages to your investors. Broadridge also provides automated links to SIAC and NSCC for order matching and confirmation. And, all of Broadridge's order processing systems are backed by disaster recovery measures that provide your firm with the ability to have all order traffic routed to an alternative site should your primary site become unavailable for any reason.
For firms competing in today's rapidly evolving electronic brokerage marketplace, Broadridge has also developed its FESNetsm (Front End Server Network) API. Using this application, clients can offer comprehensive Internet-based brokerage services to their customers by providing electronic connectivity between proprietary front-end technologies and Broadridge's BPS processing platform. The FESNet system interfaces directly with the client's web server and/or telephone trading system to seamlessly authenticate and validate order information and present account-level data to the online customer. This interface also provides support for real-time order entry, account inquiry and quote functions, and enables your firm to deliver real-time position and balance updates, right to your online trading environment.
As an Broadridge client you also benefit from the ability to offer investors the Audio Response System (ARS) as a reliable backup to Internet investing. With ARS customers can use the telephone to access real-time quote information and enter orders wherever and whenever they want. ARS is the perfect complement to your online brokerage offerings because it allows you to provide your customers uninterrupted connectivity to the marketplace.
With Broadridge's order management services, you get comprehensive end-to-end support for complete order routing, execution and reporting. And, along with state-of-the-art systems and technology, Broadridge provides unparalleled world class customer service including comprehensive conversion plans, proven quality assurance and ongoing technical support!
