Broadridge's Brokerage Processing Services provides a robust suite of account management services that allows our clients to maintain detailed records of their customer information - improving operating efficiencies and the overall level of customer service they can provide.
The backbone of Broadridge's account management services is the extremely reliable Broadridge Name & Address System. The Name & Address database, with over 600 different data elements, forms the foundation for not only our account management services, but also all of our cash management, IRA, and clearance and settlement services as well. This system is flexible enough to handle processing for almost any industry, regulatory or company-specific need, including support for OATS and prime broker initiatives. With a multitude of system options, links to DTC and SWIFT, ability to set instructions for Telex and Fax, automatic updates by Alert and SID, and daily reporting options for account changes, your firm benefits from unparalleled flexibility and reliability. And, with the real-time update capabilities, you can make online changes, adds or deletes to information in any particular account at any time. The changes will be transmitted directly to Broadridge for automatic updating. You also have access to all of your customer data for use in customized reporting and documentation, as well as for use in other systems, vendor-provided or proprietary.
With Broadridge's comprehensive account management services you also have access to the Account Document Tracking System (ADTS) for complete tracking of all required documentation on an account-level basis. This system allows you to maintain and track up to 100 different documents per account, including margin and loan agreements, joint account applications, trust agreements, W8 and W9 forms, and much more. If one of your customers requires a status change to his/her account, the Account Document Tracking System will supply a complete record of all documentation necessary to effect the change before anything is done. This allows your firm to offer expedited customer service and protects against invalid or unauthorized activity within an account.
The Broadridge Account Transfer system gives you the ability to easily and quickly transfer accounts - either from one branch and financial consultant to another or simply from one account number to another within the same branch office. As with all of our systems and services, the Account Transfer functionality allows you to better serve your customers. With Account Transfer you can easily replicate an account's Name & Address data and move all Positions & Balances from one account to another for a seamless transition that meets your customer requirements. And, you don't have to worry about year-end statements, account documentation or old account residuals. The Broadridge Account Transfer system will automatically track this information and make the necessary postings to the new account.
