Broadridge Garners Industry Awards

LAKE SUCCESS, New York -- August 31, 2011 -- Broadridge Financial Solutions, Inc. (NYSE:BR) is pleased to announce that it recently garnered three awards from respected technology services organizations.

Financial Technologies Forum (FTF) presented Broadridge with the FTF News Technology Innovations Award for “Enterprise Operations: Most Innovative Mobile Solution.” FTF voters selected Broadridge in recognition of its introduction of its new mobile proxy voting platform, Mobile ProxyVote®. In a first-of-its-kind, Broadridge’s Mobile ProxyVote enables shareholders to vote their proxies over an array of the latest mobile devices, including the iPhone® and iPad®, as well as BlackBerry®, Android®, Microsoft® and other smartphone and tablet platforms.

“The editorial team put a lot of careful thought and effort into considering nominations and into the final voting process,” said FTF founder Maureen Lowe. “By setting an example, the nominees and winners are moving the industry forward and paving the way for a better future.”

Broadridge also earned an award from Financial Service Organizations Knowledge Xchange (FSOkx). The FSOkx Excellence Awards recognize outstanding performance in financial services transformations. FSOkx named Broadridge as the leading organization for “Excellence in Risk Management Solutions.” FSOkx honored Broadridge for its Operational Risk Management Solution, FinancePro (a state-of-the-art, front-end trading solution) and ClearancePro (a pre-settlement solution for interfacing to external clearing houses to manage pre-settlement confirmations). These services are offered as process benchmarking services when firms transition to Broadridge’s Business Process Outsourcing solution. FSOkx noted that, “The real-time, scalable solutions provide several unique features... [Broadridge’s] peer benchmarking of operational risk enables firms to compare themselves to others in the industry charting their operational performance and its library of key risk indicators provides a consolidated view of risk across the organization, essentially allowing firms to manage and mitigate risk, as well as, cost-effectively transform their global business.”

Broadridge was also named “Security Services Technology Provider of the Year” at the International Custody and Fund Administration (ICFA) magazine’s Americas Service Provider awards. In presenting the award to Broadridge’s Investor Communication Solutions, International business, the judges cited Broadridge’s client growth in terms of number of clients as well as its expansion to additional client locations in the US and abroad. The Americas Service Provider Awards celebrate the outstanding achievements for custodians, fund administrators and service providers in both North and South America in 2010.
