Broadridge Announces the Launch of New and Upgraded Solutions at SIFMA’s 2009 Operations Conference & Exhibit

Lake Success, New York – April 27, 2009 – Broadridge Financial Solutions, Inc. (NYSE:BR) today announced that it has introduced several new and upgraded solutions to the marketplace.  All of these solutions will be available for demo at the Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association (SIFMA) 2009 Operations Conference & Exhibit, April 26-29, 2009 in Hollywood, Florida.

Broadridge recently launched its Aspire® suite of desktop productivity applications which supports the full scope of investment servicing needs as well as key broker capabilities. Aspire includes five modules for broker-dealers and investment advisors and includes solutions for performance reporting, portfolio accounting, unique broker capabilities, wealth planning tools and an investor self-service portal. The comprehensive solution suite can be integrated with Broadridge’s back-office services. The modules may be used independently or in conjunction with each other, for added power and efficiency.  

Broadridge also recently launched its new Global Corporate Actions Solution (GCAS), a fully-managed service that automates the entire corporate actions processing lifecycle. Broadridge’s GCAS is an advanced, real-time and flexible solution that delivers straight-through-processing for a variety of corporate action processing needs, including announcement data capture and cleansing‘ notification processing and entitlement calculations.  Broadridge’s GCAS provides the software, infrastructure and retained services needed to support end-to-end corporate actions processing. GCAS features the award-winning cama™ corporate actions processing engine by Information Mosaic.  Information Mosaic is a recognized provider of advanced custody, asset management and wealth management solutions that manage risk in the investor services industry.  By combining its robust outsourcing capabilities with Information Mosaic’s cama™ solution, Broadridge offers fully-automated corporate actions support to broker-dealers, asset managers and custodians worldwide.

Broadridge also announced that its Global Reference Data Solution (GRDS) has been enhanced to better assist firms with mitigating risk.  The solution helps firms to reduce operational risk and downstream processing errors, while helping them reduce their overall data management expenditure.  The GRDS enhancements include greater data governance capabilities that allow firms to align their data management rules to their business processes. 

GRDS is a managed service that provides the software, hardware and resources needed to support the acquisition, cleansing, storage and delivery of “golden copy” instrument reference data. Unique to the market, GRDS uses the GoldenSource® Enterprise Data Management infrastructure to provide cleansed and consistent data across a broad array of asset classes.
