Our Commitment to Supplier Diversity

We strive to identify and build relationships with and purchase products and services from certified small businesses as well as enterprises owned by minorities, women, veterans and disabled persons. We seek those relationships that will help us achieve our operational and financial objectives.

Our objectives include:

  • Seeking out certified Diverse Suppliers that can provide competitive, high-quality goods and services.
  • Ensuring the inclusion of Diverse Suppliers as a part of our strategic sourcing and procurement process.
  • Communicating the value of Supplier Diversity both internally and externally to all stakeholders.

Program Focus

We strive to optimize our Supplier Diversity program through:

  • Tracking and Reporting - monitoring and reporting our progress with a strong emphasis on continuous improvement
  • External Activities – actively seeking diverse suppliers
  • Communications – educating internal and external stakeholders on our Supplier Diversity Program and Policy
  • Education – understanding and keeping informed of best practices through seminars and networking

How to Register as a Diverse Supplier

We invite qualified diverse businesses to register with our Supplier Diversity Program. In order to qualify, vendors must be at least 51% owned, operated and controlled by individuals who fall into one or more of the following categories:

  • Women
  • Minority (African Americans, Hispanic Americans, Native Americans, and Asian/Asian Pacific Americans)
  • Veteran
  • Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender (LGBT)
  • Small Disadvantaged (as defined by the SBA)

To participate in the Broadridge’s Supplier Diversity Program, a business must have a current third-party certification from one of the below organizations:

  • National Minority Supplier Development Council Regional Affiliates (NMSDC) or Regional Affiliates
  • Women’s Business Enterprises National Council (WBENC) or Regional Affiliates
  • National Veteran-Owned Business Association (NaVOBA)
  • Association for Services Disabled Veterans (ASDV)
  • National Gay and Lesbian Chamber of Commerce
  • U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA)
  • Certification from additional city, state, or Federal Agencies may also apply
